On Monday, Baskin released a new song titled “Carola,” about her son, “Carol.”
The song is about her experience in foster care and the struggles of being a single mother and raising two kids alone in rural Oregon.
“I didn’t want to let this go away,” Baskin wrote on Instagram.
“It’s my hope that you hear it.
And we can move forward and move forward together.”
Baskin’s new song, “The Only Way is Home,” was released last week.
It has been viewed more than 1 million times on YouTube and has garnered more than 16 million views.
It was the first song she has released since her son was adopted.
It is about the experience of raising two children alone in a rural Oregon community.
The lyrics are written by Baskin and the band’s singer, Josh Lipps.
The song features the group singing in a traditional American dialect, with the lyrics saying, “We had no idea where we were going.
We were born into a broken family, but it never bothered us.”
A video for “The One Way” was released earlier this year, with a song called “The Last Song.”
In that song, the group sang a few words of Baskin in an American accent, and then they danced together to a song about losing their family and the journey ahead.
In the new song “The Other Way,” the group sings about a life in foster home and the difficulties they have faced.
They sing, “I know you’ve been through a lot.
You’re a fighter.”
The new song was released as part of Basin’s “Caring for Ourselves” tour.
The tour will also include performances at several local parks.
“We had a lot of success touring with her.
We all know her amazing work ethic, and we couldn’t be happier for her and her family,” Lippss said.”
Carola” has been nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Song Written for a Variety Performance and Best Pop/R&op Album, and it was nominated for the Polaris Music Award for Album of the Year.
The group also won a Juno Award for Song of the Summer in 2014.
