Kenny Chesney and his wife, Annies, and their two young daughters were among the more than 1,000 people who died in the quake, which struck on September 4 and killed at least 1,400 people.
Kensington, New York’s Kesey, who was playing on a gig at the time, was killed in the devastating quake.
“I didn’t think anything was going to happen,” Kensington told the New York Times in an interview published on Monday.
“It’s a very strange feeling, you know, and then I just see it.
It’s a sudden, unexpected, unbelievable feeling.”‘

She was found dead on the floor of their Brisbane home.
She had been in the room when Kensington collapsed, her sister-in-law Annies told the Los Angeles Times.
“She’s not going to be found, so she’s gone,” she said.
“Kens was really enjoying himself, he had a great time, and I don’t think he was worried.”
A coroner’s inquest into Kensington’s death is expected to begin on November 17.KENSINGTON’S PRIVATE LIFES’ LANDOWNESS Born on November 8, 1955, to an English-born mother and Filipino father, Kensington has four children, aged 10, 13, 17 and 19.
His father, Michael Chesney, died of cancer aged 64 in 2011.

After the death of his father, Chesney moved to Australia, eventually settling in Brisbane.
He formed the rock band Kensington & The Animals in 1975 and released four albums, including their most recent album, The Next Day.
He was married twice and divorced twice.
In 1996, he divorced his wife of 33 years, Jennifer Kensington.
